Bess Masterson Mattei joined Kilgore & Kilgore in 1994, after being admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same year.  Her area of expertise is litigation, primarily in the fields of antitrust and employment law.  Ms. Mattei has litigated cases to verdicts exceeding $1 million.  Ms. Masterson has successfully negotiated numerous six figure settlements in cases involving claims of antitrust violations, breach of contract, defamation, sexual harassment, race discrimination, religious discrimination and disability discrimination.  Ms. Mattei earned B.A. degrees in economics and art history from Stanford University in 1989 and a J.D. degree from the University of Texas in 1994, where she was a member of the Legal Research Board.
