W.D. Masterson has practiced law in Dallas for more than 50 years and has been with Kilgore & Kilgore since 1956, when he was admitted to the State Bar of Texas.  As manager of our firm, Masterson is a highly skilled litigator in both state and federal courts, having successfully tried numerous employment and defamation suits, oil and gas suits, securities fraud class action suits, antitrust suits and general business suits.  Masterson earned a B.A. degree from Southern Methodist University, a J.D. degree from SMU School of Law and a master of science degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.  He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and served as an associate editor of the Southwestern Law Journal.
