We built our reputation on experience, versatility, and dedication. Founded in 1948, we began our law practice in the oil field, quickly becoming one of the premier oil and gas law firms in the Southwest. During the '60s and '70s, we expanded our client base to include banks and real estate developers. In the '80s, we were known for our representation of small businesses and entrepreneurs struggling to compete. During the '90s, we set ground-breaking precedents in employment law and antitrust. Today, we are a boutique litigation firm representing executives, inventors and investors.

Kilgore - One of the Oldest Law Firms in Dallas

Kilgore's Dallas-Fort Worth office is located in an uptown neighborhood of Dallas overlooking the Katy Trail. The Kilgore Law Center, as it is now known, is also the home of the Madi Museum and the historic Arcadia sign.

Kilgore Practices Law in New York

In 2008, Kilgore + Kilgore expanded its practice to New York, representing clients on intellectual property law litigation issues in federal court and in arbitration. Clients include the Bank of New York Mellon and the Research Foundation of the State University of New York. Kilgore's New York office is located on Wall Street in the downtown Financial District.

Kilgore Practices Law in Austin

In May 2010, Kilgore + Kilgore announced the opening of their Austin practice. Kilgore extended into the Austin business community to expand the niche market it serves: their practice of strategic legal services for executives, investors, and inventors. Kilgore already advised a corporate client on the hiring of an executive from a competitor. Also, Kilgore represented a CEO in his transition from an Austin software company.
